Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix about 2 tablespoons
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional: 1/4 cup sour cream for added creaminess
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Preheat The Oven

  • Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures the dish cooks evenly.

Prepare The Baking Dish

  • Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or nonstick spray to prevent sticking.

Mix The Sauce

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, cream of mushroom soup, and water. If you’re using sour cream, stir it in for a richer flavor.

Season The Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Place them in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.

Pour The Sauce Over The Chicken

  • Evenly pour the prepared sauce over the chicken, ensuring it coats the pieces well.

Cover And Bake

  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to lock in moisture. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.

Uncover And Finish Baking

  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the top to brown slightly.

Garnish And Serve

  • Remove the dish from the oven using oven mitts. Let it rest for a couple of minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
